Here, I showcase my mini sculpture.
(Brief)
A mini sculpture using the theme "Marine Creature".
(Solution)
Extracting the essence of a jellyfish; infinite shapes, "in-motion" tentacles.
(Process)
Being adventurous, I've used a few different materials namely, wood, acrylic and aluminum. The acrylic strips have been heat treated and twisted. The aluminum rod are precisely rolled. Milling holes onto every piece of wood, the aluminum rods connect them together. Supporting the structure are the acrylic legs. Drilled precisely into the bottom of each wooden block to provide balance to the structure. Finished with a coat of 2-tone white and orange semi-gloss paint to give the whole sculpture a "floating" effect.
